Solar power in a brief break down is the conversion of sunlight into electricity. This can be done either directly using Photovoltaic’s (PV*), or indirectly using concentrated solar power (CSP*). In the case of concentrated solar power systems, lenses or mirrors and tracking systems are used to focus a large area of sunlight into a small beam heating a centralized location to create power that can be generated from the high concentration of heat to a designated area. On the other end of solar use, Photovoltaic’s convert light into an electric current using the photoelectric effect.

A fuel cell is an electrochemical energy conversion device, which converts natural gas and propane, (and eventually bio-fuels) to produce electricity and heat. This innovative system allows for the reduction of overall fossil fuel consumption, a lessening of carbon emissions and a decrease in overall utility costs, while still being able to operate 24 hours a day.
